Stepping off the train in Stadelhofen and what do I hear? Vibrating sounds of drums & percussion...
...they almost magically draw everybody's attention. But I'll take a bus to the harbour, cause THEY will be marching in the rain...

This is the place you want to be this weekend: Steelbands@theLake
A little word game: HER name is Barbara SCHIRA and the gherkin's brand is CHIRAT...
...it's a Swiss oddity to have a gherkin slice in EVERY sandwich, actually in 90% of all Swiss meals you'll find one. No clue why...
oh-hoh, they're coming...
...the CARIBBEAN CONNECTION
The Swiss Steel and Percussion project for Notting Hill Carnival 2007
More than 70 people, players of different bands. Not sure if everybody made it today...
...sure is that they are going to mash up the place in London. Nostalgia friends, PREPARE :-) !!
Or let me say it so: Pan music was introduced to Switzerland majorly by British citizen. They just bring it back to England with a big thank you!
I don't know all the players (band names on their pans), many of them used to play with Swisstrin, Zuri Renegades, and other projects in the past...
