Thanks so
much for your reply and the information regarding
festivals. In particular I'd like to thank you for your
offer of help with accommodation if and when we can
travel to Switzerland. My reply is
late because I just today got my internet
line hooked back up since last September! I have to
say that this year is out for us too. We had a rather
terrible hurricane in September that destroyed many of
the buildings on the island including our school, so up
to now the steelband has not been able to find a venue
to play/practise. We too are
looking forward to next year. Will keep in
touch. Kind regards.
Eustace

I really appreciate your willingness to
help promote our event.
Hopefully this will lead to participation by
European steelbands.
Nice Website! Thank you.

Was just going over your site
and saw the advert for - Pan for All Seasons-. Must say it
looks quite impressive. Just want to say thank you for
supporting a Canadian pannist. I believe I owe you BIG
TIME. I was also wondering if you have done anything with
the scores I sent you. Was anyone willing to take a risk
with them and try out? Please let me know if there is
anything I can do to assist you in any way. It's kinda busy
these days with school/teaching, Black History Month and
personal playing engagements. However please don't
hesitate to ask. Keep in touch! Layne.

Hey Wentworth,
I saw your posting on the Panjumbie site. I try to
stay away from these sites because a lot of A/Hs post
their nonsense there. Monika is a GREAT lady. DieHard
pan fan. She is doing a great job in a pan world of
male dominated p*** who would love to see her fail. Give
her all the encouragement you can. That's My Sis. Emrold... Hope all is well.

Nice language Pan Guy. I see you've transferred you
attitude from the PanBlog. Keep it up. You'll go
far......DOWN!
Keep up the good work Monika. Jealousy is a heck of a
thing. The folks who will criticize you are the ones doing
nothing to promote this artform. IGNORE THEM!

 Pan-Jumbie
is a great resource for lovers of pan music everywhere.
The links page alone is worth a daily visit. Thank you for

i really dont know much about this pan jumbie stuff but i
just got an e mail from a friend telling me to check it
out so i did. well if this room has a lot of real pannists then i would not even have to say anything about myself
because most of the pan world will know who i am.
Monika:
Pan Jumbie is actually meant to be a news board. But you
are invited to send your portrait in order to enlighten
the pan world. |
