T&T: Pan revolution in music Dear
Buzz, whey yuh get the information from?
It would be nice if pan in schools were a big thing in
Germany and Sweden, yet it is still
a very rare thing! The only European country with well
established bands in schools, as part
of class schedules, is England! Hundreds!! I guess not even
BAS may be able to name
you an exact number. In order to establish bands at every
school in Europe, first and
foremost we would be in great need of well-trained pan
teachers, also regarding pedagogics!
That is the point where we Europeans failed so far, at least
we are not aware of any such
apprenticeship! Just to know a bit about music is not enough,
unless schools are pleased
with results
like for instance this...
